Hi all, repogirl the dollmaker here! With the holidays really coming in, I'd like to take orders for any plushes!
Conditions:
- I will take a maximum of ten orders, so first come, first serve to get in your holiday gifts! This will be posted to two or three other communities, so keep this in mind!
- Three doll maximum per customer! First doll is $25, each additional is $20.
- Customer pays all shipping and handling fees. Shipping includes delivery confirmation.
- Dolls can now be made either from cotton jersey with eyes drawn directly on the fabric, or made of flannel with eyes printed on transfer paper and ironed on.
- I'd order now, because come December, I need to turn my attention to gift making for the family! I need to knit/crochet/sew scarves, hats, dolls, stuffed animals, etc for family members too! ;)

My boyfriend recently found it at a GameStop; we drove about an hour or so just to pick it up.
And it is absolutely AMAZING.
I've watched him play it, and it is so beautiful. I am going to steal it away from him, as well as Shadow of the Colossus.
I highly, HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone out there.
It's rare, so good luck finding it for a reasonable price (aka $40 or so).
The Last Guardian trailer almost made me cry. |

So, as some of you may know, Steam had a 50% special on Mass Effect this weekend, and my boyfriend suggested I get it. (When I questioned him about it, he reminded me that he'd played it months back and that it was one of the few games he actually thoroughly enjoyed anymore... which is saying a lot.)
So I went ahead and bought it on Saturday, and wow. I can't believe I didn't get this game ages ago! I'm having so much fun with the level of interactivity involved and all the different conversations you can have (and everyone has a voice actor, which is so cool). The amount of detail and information the creators put into the history, politics, races, planets and star systems are pretty awesome, too. You can even go to Luna (our moon) and see a really spectacular view of Earth from it.
I haven't even beaten the game yet and I'm super excited to play it all over again just so I can give my character a different "personality" and see where it leads me. I had been playing Borderlands (another really fun one) before this and leveling a Siren, but I haven't even opened that game since I bought this; ME has just completely taken the cake.
Has anyone else ever "discovered" a game well after its release? I honestly hadn't even heard of it except when my b/f had mentioned he was playing it ages back.

Really random: Anyone still use a Gameboy or Gameboy Color?
I think I might be addicted to Aladdin for GBC - it's like Super Mario only cooler.
Favorite DS/GBA/GBC games, girlies? I need to get back into the groove, for sure. And I'm not tolerating one more moment of Animal Crossing or Cooking Mama (1 OR 2) >:C I need something I can get sucked into, not just a "Ohay, I have nothing better to do let's beat my score or decorate my house lolol" (That's what I have Mario for, haha)

I'm dying to play Dragon Age and Borderlands, but the soonest I can pick them up is probably Christmas; I'll just be putting them on my wish list for the time being. The thing is, I'm not sure which which game I should get for which platform. My boyfriend said Borderlands on the 360, and Dragon Age on the PC but I'd like some more opinions. TIA <3 |

This is a cool site that gives plenty of details on how to obtain achievements, with even people willing to help you get them if you're stuck. The forums have a lot of good hints and discussion on various gaming topics and non-related topics. I've been on here for at least a year and I think it's quite fun. There's even a checklist tracker to see how far you are along achievement wise in each game, and also you can set up other lists as well.

alright, so i finished borderlands today!
i started as a level 1 siren & at first i wasn't too crazy about her specials & whatnot. i always liked how the berserker would just snap & punch & scream at everything. haha. however, after playing for a while & learning about all the class mods & shit, the siren character actually ended up being a ton of fun.
for those of you who haven't played yet, haven't heard of it, or are interested but unsure about this game, i'll try to sum it up a bit from my perspective, at least. if you liked fallout 3, you'll probably like this.
the big thing about this game is the gun generator that they have come up with. basically, it can generate any kind of gun & you can randomly find it either after killing enemies, bosses, or just finding them in boxes. for example, you can have a rocket launcher with a sniper scope & on top of that, the gun can have static, fire, corrosion or other powers to go along with the general damage of the weapon. with this game i realized that the more you play, the more fun the game gets. it doesn't get too repetitive (except for those fucking spiders) & the better the gun gets, the more eager you are to continue.
also, i think this game is more fun to play with a group of at least two or more people. playing alone is kind of boring. i'm not crazy about the car/driving parts.
ah, to conclude....this is definitely a sleeper hit! i LOVED this game & i think everyone should give it a chance!
for those of you that have played, how did you like it? the pros? the cons?

I checked the WoW tag but i didn't see anything pertaining to my question.
My friend finally convinced me to play WoW after 5 years of pestering me about it and i need a headset. Problem is even after reading reviews and such i still don't know which ones are the best. What head sets do you use for gaming? |

If there has already been a post about this I due apologize.
I really don't get it. When I watch my boyfriend play SF4 or HD Remix online when he has the upper hand BAM the person DC's and for what? To keep your points?!? If you are going to lose face it up and dont DC. Also a few times he has received messages from said people telling him that he cheats blah blah blah *beep*beep*beep*beep*
Its like ZOMG GET OVER YOURSELF ITS JUST A GAME!
I am just tying to understand people sometimes and why they think its SUPER important to DC rather than just face the facts someone beats you get over it. So I ask you ladies and gentleman have you experienced something like this before. Either on Xbox 360 or PS3?
